Imagine if the devs looked at the threads in this subforum and then gave their responses on a regular basis and in a timely manner.

Fixed that for you.

Loftar does this (on certain topics that he finds interesting) at times, which seems to result in higher participation, better comments and overall a more interesting/fruitful discussion. Would be nice if Jorb would do that too (and both do that more often) instead of pushing all active C&I discussions way below the fold once every some months with one-liners.

My bet is it would result in an increase in the quality of ideas.

Jorb in the past has been very active in responding to the C&I threads. There were days were I'd look at the forums and he'd have the last post on threads spanning 2 pages worth. He must just be busy with other things right now. He usually is pretty active in these forums.

I really don't like this part of Jorb's feedback to be honest. It's an open ended response that leaves the entire end result up in the air. Does he consider it and then decide not to do it? Does he decide to do it but it's a low priority? Does he decide to do it but forget to put it on the to-do list? We literally never know. Then 2 years down the road you look back on something he said he'd do that isn't done and you wonder if you should suggest it again or if it just hasn't come up yet.

In all seriousness though I've had most of my suggestions responded to it's just sometimes its two months after, they get to them eventually

If I say that I will consider something it goes on my list of things to consider, which is a long list of threads and general ideas that I keep tabs on, and look at with some regularity. You will notice that many, if not most, of our small fixes and even content ideas, are user submitted.

I have developed a terrible C&I backlog. No excuses, I just suck. Will try to work on it.
