Destroy button

It would be nice if every container or your inventory had a little trash can in the bottom corner which you can drag items to to completely delete from the game (after a pop-up confirmation window of course)

I find that sometimes I'll be digging soil or fishing in deep water and I'll get random items that are just total garbage.
I don't want to drop them back to the ground/water because I do not want to put them back into the item pool to fish/dig it up again later, but at the same time, I don't have to fill my inventory with a bunch of trash.

It would be nice if we had a way to simply delete items rather than dropping them

Too easy for your bots you lazy cant.

An incinerator would be better. Especially if hearthlings fit inside.

Are you intellectually disabled?

Bots can already drop all and the destroy button would have a confirm button/short timer on each destoyed item

It would be more reasonable if items dropped on paved ground would get a longer decay timer, but despawn without entering the digging loot pool.

Should be an easy way to dispose of things without the possibility of them being dug up again. I've found myself with this problem trying to get rid of some stuff like old keys, parchments with links to discord servers, top q crop produce etc etc.

Not sure if you're working in the right industry with a response like that. Also pretty much confirms you intend to use this to bot.

I like Grangers idea but I still want to be able to trick hearthlings into being locked inside an incinerator and burnt alive.

How does it confirm that I intend to bot with it lol

A bot could drop everything and give no fucks, why would I make a bot to destroy individual items one at a time with a timer between each deletion when I could just get the bot to drop all or to stockpile them instead?

And you're right, there are more up to date terms available to us now
