here's an idea allow us to burn straw for fuel for campfire

I have way too much straw floating around on my claim I need to get rid of and I think the best way to get rid of it is to burn it as fuel in a campfire or oven

I dont think that straw burns for very long though. So not very suitable for oven except if you compress it to brickets and burn those maybe.

it's a lot of low quality crappy straw and I feed my animals flax seeds
my flax seeds 823 quality why my straw I have floating around in my base its old straw which is 500 quality and I also have higher quality straw I use for crafting it would be nice to burn the low quality crap as fuel I prefer to feed my animals a bucket of seeds that's 1000 seeds which is 200 units of food it's less of a hassle then putting in one unit of straw at a time

Also bark. A piece of straw or a piece of bark should take about 1/10th of the time a branch does to burn.

It should also be possible to light a pile of straw or a pile of bark, but not to cook with it. But it should make a huge bright light!

I just tried this irl and the straw produces too much ash which ends up smothering the fire.

I am all for burning straw in a hearthling sized incinerator.
