Sane ssl certificates

https://letsencrypt.org/
These days you can get ssl certificates that browsers wont complain about for free. Lets encrypt certificates are only valid for small period of time, but automating the renewal of them should be trivial.

Some browsers such as chrome have thing in their new versions, that they wont serve http sites, at all. Many people use chrome. People that want to try haven might not be able to do so if their browser wont let them to the site!

Fuck Google. They've forgotten their roots. Their corporate motto used to be "Don't be evil." Now it's just an afterthought... at best. Move to Firefox, or there are other new browsers out there. A couple even aim to do what TOR is doing without the extreme need for anonymity*, just a focus on personal privacy. For that matter, a few extensions are all Firefox needs to do the same.

*Due to the goal of total anonymity, several features cannot be used safely with TOR, such as javascript, leaving a large portion of the WWW unusable. Some major sites have come out with TOR friendly versions. Surprisingly Facebook is one of them, so at least one Kudos from me to Zuckerberg and co. But FB doesn't need your browser history to do their data scraping.

Also, might think about looking into a EFF project called "HTTPS Everywhere." It's available as an add-in for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (but not Edge!)
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Google is a great company with lots of great products, just because they remove some old joke from their legal documents does not mean that they want to take over the world.
One can also use chromium which has pretty much all of the same features but without google.
Google/chrome is also a big supporter of the Let's Encrypt project.
