Midge Lantern Gate Fixtures

Postby Massa » Sat Aug 18, 2018 3:05 am

Midges should be able to be lured with some honey lathered on exquisite rot inside of a lantern.

Two of these midge lanterns, that may or may not require constant 'refuelling' with some kind of food item. The logic behind this item is that, affixing two midge lanterns onto two cornerposts around an open gate, or an empty space no larger than 3 tiles, would ward off the passage of tamed animals that 'know better', like a lorb-brain shock collar, except out of fear of being bitten.

Leashed animals would be allowed passage through these gates, but regular animals would not wander through them out of animal-brained fear of distracted bugs.

This is a good idea.

I like this idea. :) Convenience at the cost of a little inconvenience, handy!
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Anything to combat the pox upon humanity that midge swarms are.
