Sub credo from your cloth

Postby Fostik » Mon Sep 17, 2018 1:41 pm

As we all know - there are a lot ideas for new credos, some of them are really cool ideas, but adding more and more credos - making game more and more unplayable.

Please let's not speak about abusing mechanics with credo questing by dying, or speaking about completing this quests just by grinding - there are a lot of time for each credo, and some time you will require more time than you can afford.

My idea is simple - let some cloth sets give credos or buffs from credo if you dont have it's credo.
Just for example - there are lot of items named druid's, farmers, etc.
Make rule that if you have all the items equipped - you will get bonuses from some related credo.

Only if "best" bonus from credo would be removed (rather not gained with this method), as this would just kill credo making all together.

Actually kind of an interesting concept, giving some power of credos to equipments. I think limiting it to full sets would be a decent idea too.

I dunno if 1-1 copies of the credo from sets would be good though. I think similar boons would be, but for example if you got the Potter's clay recipe from a piece of clothing it'd be a little sketchy regardless of what it cost.

I'm rather a fan of credo's as is, though even I agree the quest requirements could, potentially, use a little nerfing.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.
