new wound

rn chasing anyone is a lost cause because they will just grab speedbuffs and catching up to them is near impossible, so i thought of a way to kinda make it even.
a new wound named open wound, depening on how high this wound is bleed out shp over time. this way people that took big hits cant just run forever and ganking will have a meaning again.

Got to be % shp or I think you get major balance issues.

what balance issue ? i had 3 troll betls filled with water and always ran with full inv of butter porridge i could run for a loooooong time.
only way to stop bleeding is to fully stop moving and applying a gauze to the wound which takes 10 seconds. this way the chase gets shortened from 2hour run to maybe 30mins of running.

If its a flat amount:
If small bleed (balanced for smaller shp), will only affect noobs and fighters early world. Titans can still run forever.
If large bleed (balanced for larger shp that titans have), it will instantly KO anyone without titan stats.

I'm not saying I like or dislike the idea, just that it needs to be % shp to be balanced. There is too much variation in hp amount to balance it with a flat quantity.

Get rid of the ability to use tools in belts that are in your inventory.

Fixs some issuses.

high hp fast bleed low hp slow bleed, with enough balance the 100hp noob will bleed out at the same time as the 4k hp titan. besides a 100hp nub wouldnt even bleed hed flat out die to the cleave the titan gives so it really doesnt change much.

Seems like it'd make it even harder to get kills because people would lose a ton of SHP from bloodloss. And that's one of the biggest problems with pvp.

That's what I'm trying to say. Should be similar amounts of time for all hp levels, thus % shp bleed. Titans like to cleave early though when they want to go for the kill, and since pvp has varying stat ranges from 1-20k, there are still quite some differences.

Removing the ability to drink from belts would also help, as Maze says. Though with nomad, sub, etc, you can still carry ridiculous amount of water with you.

Arguably you could already go into pvp with a large portion of your shp missing. But yeah, would make kills a lot harder.
