I know at the start of this world (or was it the last world) the gods decided to remove the ability to check wild animal q before killing it but I think it would be nice if there was some way we could check, its annoying and tedious to kill every moose I see just to see what q it is. I understand that they don't want this feature at the start of a world but by the time a player is established it doesn't cost anything to kill an animal and it is frustrating to constantly find q80 moose when I know there are q200+ ones in this area.
Telescope:
A two handed object made from steel and glass that allows you to check a wild animals q before you have killed it.
Hawk Eye Dungeon reward:
A new dungeon, perhaps for Golden Eagle that, on completion, gives you a hawk eye ability that allows you to check animal q. Or it could be the reward from another animals dungeon, rabbits for example. I don't think it would need to be the reward from a hard dungeon like the Bear is likely to be.
Each dungeon reward:
Completing each dungeon allows you to check quality of animals of that variety. (Of course this would take the longest to implement. Also I am not sure they are planning dungeons for every animal, does a moose dungeon sound a bit weird to everyone else?)
