So I checked wiki for pre-refrigeration meat storage methods and learned about Ice Houses https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_house_(building)

These could be used in a similar way to current Granary's but for Meat's, Fish, Fish Fillet's, Intestine's, Ice, Snow, and Ice Packs
Since food quality mostly falls on the equipment or fuel used the quality of stored items could simple "even out" like with seeds
(Also maybe when sausage making you can just place the meatgrinder next to it like with barrel without having to sort thru meats)
