Idea for meat storage (Ice Houses)

So while's doing some cleaning I realized most of the cupboard's in my claim are just filled with useless meats that I just cant bring myself to throw away...

So I checked wiki for pre-refrigeration meat storage methods and learned about Ice Houses https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_house_(building)

These could be used in a similar way to current Granary's but for Meat's, Fish, Fish Fillet's, Intestine's, Ice, Snow, and Ice Packs

Since food quality mostly falls on the equipment or fuel used the quality of stored items could simple "even out" like with seeds

(Also maybe when sausage making you can just place the meatgrinder next to it like with barrel without having to sort thru meats)

same idea was posted for a few people who'd asked for butcher changes.
I myself asked for butcher bins and houses.

and I still agree with it.

My system is based on 5 cupboards for each ingredient (huge ass underground kitchen).
So when ever a meat stock is full, I either cook it or slice it to fat cuts and boil it to soap.

I do would love more items to be implanted, but this one got a easy solution so it is not that high on my priority list.
If you want a better meat storage, just plan it out and build it, cupboards wont break underground as long you do not move them.

But why should hearthling have 10 cupboards of meat?

the problem isnt not enough storage. its needing that much food to go up places in haven and hearth, thats the core problem.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

The problem is, meat at some point stop being relevant but still being produced if not dropped onto ground. personally i hate wasting precious meat so i just make a lot of butcher surprises and shove it up on first alt or noob meet. also, for hermits it might be not a problem since, look shubla post, but villages tend to stack on a lot of these

So the obvious conclusion we can draw from this and other threads is that most meat is about as valuable as Stinging Nettles by some point in the game.

If food decay is ever implemented, the only relevant long-term storage for meat that I'm aware of is smoking or curing. Ice is too much of a scarcity. (I could see roads from all corners of the hearthlands into the few snowy areas of the world.)

Just make it stupid but simple with granary, where You can storage different type of meat but downside is that You will average meat quality (similar to seed) when putting meat into it, this ofcourse as downside if You mix lower Q with higher Q. Not that it matter much.

Those already exist, and have existed for a while now, we need snow, localized resources, mammoths...etc.
