( Imaginary ) Game development ! "Cereal Arsonist"

- Trees, crops and piles of flamable stuff can now be set on fire, leaving piles of ashes after they burn. ( Trees turn into a black burned tree instead of a pile )
Depending on the materials, there is a different chance of flamability success. Piles of ashes gradually decay and vanish if they are not placed in a container, ( by the wind ? )

- Every time you attempt to set something on fire there is a chance you get burn injury of various degrees
( ovens, fireplaces and kilns are the most safe ones with only a small chance of minor burns, like "you burned your pinky" injury )

- Fire may spread to adjacent stuff, thus crating the danger of large scale fires that could burn down your stuff.
Structures made of flamable materials, like log cabins, carts, crates etc. may not be directly set on fire but if the scale of the surrounding fire is large, they also have a chance of burning down !

- Fires may be attempted to be extinguished by throwing water ( with buckets or barrels ) on them ( allways having the chance to get burned if you get too close ! )

- you may now throw lit torches, from a distance ( kinda like arrows but not so far ) to set something on fire.
Stones can be thrown too for a small amount of damage on animals and hearthllings.

- New liftable Structure: Barbecue ( for inside or outside cooking, affecting Quality on sausage food category )
- some Sausages now have to be grilled before eaten
- New craftable item "Grill rack" to be used with barbecue structure .

- New type of terrain " Scorched earth " . Created on an area where trees and bushes burned down. Tree spawn and growth quadruples on Scorched earth. ( can be exploited to quickly increase tree Quality "

tar is now able to be poured on ground and to be lit on fire

can set animals with fur on fire thay will run wild and atk anything near them burning them and a chance to set them ablaze

if catch fire for too long you are now bald for a longtime with hair slowly growing back

yeah and they will ppl who like just set everything on fire on the map. Regrown is too slow such a thing for now, and it need lot of balance (with possibily for burning down pcs and towns it would suck). Maybe with weather mechanics (mostly rain and snow and setting temperature for terrrain) it ll be nice (new Rite & Magic to summon weather for Psyche characters on some king of new altars) And new item to small fire extinction from safe distnace ballon with water made of entrails and water.

one of the earliest tool for fighting fires was the force pump and bacisly giant syringes filled with water out side of buckets of water

thou in reality ancient fire fighting was mostly this

They would not only form bucket brigades or attempt to smother smaller fires, but would also demolish or raze nearby buildings to slow the spread of the fire. However, there is no mention of fires being extinguished, rather they were contained and burned themselves out.

I don't know where to start... lets settle on 'could be fun for the ones burning down the rest'?

That being said: given the experience with the player base... better leave this idea as an idea.

You right now we have anarchy with fire it ll be burned entire map in few weeks after new world starts:cry: and we would had post apo HnH let the ppl kill each other and they will be killing. 80% meeting new player was at least K.O. for my chars rest was just another noob like me. :lol:

- Added bowls. Will allow you to consume foodstuffs and liquids at the same time. Various existing recipes have been reworked to use bowls, as well as one new one

This could be neat thing for an "end of the world" -event when reset does come around. Not sure how much "unnecessary" work it would be, though.

could be balanced with increased risk for burn injuries accumulating with every fire set and increased tree growth on "scortched earth terrain".
Besides, one could be protecting his/hers trees inside their village. Practically once you start tree Q grinding you rarely chop trees outside villages, right ?
