Credos Witch and Witch Hunter

Hello! The game does not have enough magic. We needed it, man!

Jorb need to add 2 credos: Witch and Witch Hunter.

For these professions, you will need to focus on Lore. (Lore is a general measure of Wisdom, relevant for "magical" or otherwise involved tasks.)
That will be epic!

Why? HnH is phantasy game. Trolls, gigantic snails, dryads, nidbane are already in the game. The next step is magic ;)

We really don't need magic. At all. This fantasy setting is steeped in a different kind of magic than that popularized by Tolkien, instead leaning on an older, more natural magic. Look at your hearth magic, THAT'S what magic is here.

Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.

Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Seid magic allows the witch to throw little curses on cows, querns, wells, and various household objects, to feed both herself and her magic. Together with other witches in a coven, she can perform rituals to curse entire tracts of land.

The Witch Hunter specializes in locating and taking out witches -- or other practitioners of magic -- and witches' covens. By burning the black sorceresses at the stake, he fuels his martial skills.

I do not see Tolkien's magic in that. It is mystical curses with runes and potions.

We can call it differently - Shamans, Druids.
What bad do you see in Salem? It was good... once upon a time.

Haven is not salem, haven should not have things from salem. Witches are one of the main things in salem.

There is a different level of magic in most fantasy settings. Some are very magic heavy, others have almost none, and then there are a few that have none at all, and only qualify as fantasy due to the odd world settings. We could use some more magic, sure, but I think it needs to fit in with the current concepts, which are low fantasy.

Jorb has definitely expressed interest in furthering credos towards adding in some sort of Witch or witchcraft. It was in the very first thread about credos he posted.
