Idea to a balance a little values of LP required to learn some skills, simple because we got so many LP from discoveries right now that I believe it might be a little issue for people and fair thing to do:
Increase the cost of those skills:
Stone Working 200 -> 300, Sewing: 200->300, Pottery 125 -> 275, Lumberjacking: 150 -> 200, Fishing 200 -> 500, Hunting 60 -> 100, Farming 400 -> 500, Animal Husbandry 750 -> 1000, Swimming 500 -> 400, Carpentry 200 -> 300, Metal Working 1000 -> 1350, Boat Building 1500 -> 2000, Basic Mechanics 2500 -> 2700
If You hate me now for this little proposal, here's something I want to make it worse in this idea:
Theft 30,000 -> 50,000
Vandalism 50,000 -> 75,000
Rage 30,000 -> 80,000
Those changes for those 3 skills should be applied only if questing get nerfed heavly, because at it stands now, I don't see a reason why ability to steal from one should be equal to the ability of murdering one, while it won't have a heavy impact on progressed world, early, I believe this little balance is necessary as power quester / no-life or whatever You call those people, can often play on multi-accounts or be simple involved in much larger group, where they don't have to care for doing something more useful than just engaging other players for fun and here comes my reasoning, to be able to smack them all over place, because there is simple no repercussion of such action.
Beginning of the world -> Just spend several hours power questing while multiaccounting or something similar, purchase somewhat cheap Rage and kill players. Literally no repercussion. No one will care to use nidbanes so early, because, Nidbane Fetter, since it requires hard metal, no one can strike back, (other power questers won't engage unless this is a fight for resource, which is another thing), no one can in any shape or form, do anything to that.
