Storing corpses

Can I propose that corpses be storable in containers once the hearthling has left this world. I only ask because I had the erhmm......problem of having too many corpses and I couldnt put them all in this big ass knarr i have. so the crew each had to just take rowboats with a corpse over there head instead in a congo line. any reason why they shouldnt be?
