Wouldn't it be fun to have a trippy surreal dungeon only accessible when you're high on opium? Loot and enemy quality could be based on opium quality.

Actually, I'm not sure if opium is actually hallucinogenic. If it's not, then maybe we could get magic mushrooms instead. :D

Hallucinations should also have some adverse effects.
For example, reduce damage output of the character by 90%, or just %-based penalties to all stats.

Enough of any opioid will make you hallucinate simply because your mind gets stuck in between various states.

But I say just play jorb's game... that's pretty trippy.

How about random penalties? It would make things more unpredictable.

Technically no. Its classified as a psychoactive drug, not a psychedelics one. (source wikipedia)

Good idea. Also we could allow plyers to cook ayahuaska, unders its effect u realize that world is illussion and it makes u quit this game.

Reminds me of … Bastion? Where you smoke the hooka and get thrown into a dungeon in/of your own minds making and have to break out by killing the boss.

Would be really cool
