I'm not so sure what to say about meat decaying/spoiling. It would be realistic of course, but realistic doesn't always make good game. Currently starvation isn't real threat after you clear the very early game and that is unlikely to change unless changes were made that would essentially be a nuisance to players (making all food decay over time for example.)
yes u r right and thats what i thought. cos it seems that players reach top level and then they keep collecting goods so we can give them more hard times. we dont know either its for good but i think its for good cos what metter is skill, if you have skill you can create food. if you wanna collect a lots of food then work for it and bring some ice, otherwise go to forest and catch fresh one. especialy seafood, how come it is not spoiled after one day? maybe put more food in the world cos now we dont have too many but you dont need it cos once u cought it after long search it can be kept forever. instead put more food in the world and make it spoiled. its seem all the same but players will have something to do. and food will have more value, good food will. and players will have better experience cos it will feel like real.
im neww to the game and im not sure what u use snow and ice for now but it seem quite reasonable if we would use it to keep food fresh. this is detailed game and i think we better keep going that way. and spoiled food its what we missing for more datalisation. and it make sence.
for example bad veggies can become organic matter and compost so you can make higher qlty soil means hq food. make is cicle and connected. like in nature. i think its good.
