stockpiles r too small

buff them

especialy dirt need at least 25k size

and in case it creates list of items with seperate data each of it holding data about each item quality and this cause a problem...

i would not mind having a "stockpile" construction , which would round all quality items and count them as single one , same way it happens to barrels, but for that being able to store thousand of items , instead of having thousand of piles lying around.

Around here, we have saying: ''Stockpiles for everything, infinite capacity.''

Will you sleep calmly when you will know that you can dump ~25 tons of dirt in small 1.5x1.5 heap?

to me it seems that u have not give a least slightest attempt trying to understand , why i came with that issue , as further to me it seems that u have large experience of working in circus , thats why i dun understand how u find time to post on forums where u are must be busy with entertaining kids. ¦]

infinite storage

i cant even laugt about this joke it case this is joke anyways.

im well aware that each pile takes HDD space , and as well considering that storing each seperate data about quality , warmth and wetness takes even more HDD space as well as cause lag every time u access large storage.

as for the issue , i cant flatten the land properly , because every time i try it , dirt laying around connects to the terrain and generates even more dirt , which i assume is a new game feature , which let you increase terrain high to the infinite or till the server cant handle the terrain high and crash.

and for srs answer , i burn daily about 2k ~ 8k dirt , so in case someone steal my 25k dirt would at least warn me to build tripple fence around my dirt pile to protect it.

You're so toxic. I do understand, but you are not the only who digging a lot during building your village, but the only who cries that there's something wrong with digging.

You will not do it endlessly. I'd say building takes 10-15% of total lifetime in H&H
Amount of your work for that depends on how flat place you decided to live, and how much territory you decided to take.

There is one to one relationship between dirt item and terrain elevation. If you want to destroy dirt you must drop it on some land that can not go higher (e.g. pavement) or put it in some stockpile and destroy this stockpile.

instead of making one pile 25k which is unnatural i offered in another thread idea of stores. only kindom claim can have a stores, to make kingdom a resource hub (there could be also county and duchy but stick with reality) so stores can locate both on surface and underground. so stores are actually some sort of big cabinet or shelf where you keep your stockpiles. its function kind of like wagon (or how do u call it?) where you can put 6 piles which looks like a bag, remember? so those shelves can keep 10-20 of those piles. (maybe more) this way i think we can bring your idea to reality in more logical way, so we increase numbers of storable materials yet we dont get down into staff like 25k piles.
but the whole idea to keep more goods and use smaller space is very good in my opinion cos if kingdom become more rich by keeping lots of goods in small spaces then it will attract more attention for conflict. we cant just make people to overfill their world with fields of stockpiles.
