Or you could use your lean-to. That's what they are for, in the first place.

Just build it to test - no, lean-to not work to sleep in. This option was never in Hafen. They are used to store 2 containers without claim now.
Actually +1 to Op, bring back shitty beds!

The leanto by itself was never used to to sleep, you needed to craft a spruce bed and right click it to add onto your leanto

While I agree with an early bed for immersion and as it could help to sleep off certain injuries a little bit faster (than without)...

Why isn't it enough to simply log out? Do you dislike the fact that the character simply vanishes from the world?

I think people enjoy the idea of sleeping off some minor wounds faster, and also with the reintroduction of travel weariness thats going to be implemented people will need an early way to reduce it somehow.
Beezer12Washingbeard: If poo mechanics were implemented, mercury could cure constipation wounds
magisticus: Most of us avoid making jokes like this because there is always a risk Loftar might think it's a good idea and we all have to re-design our villages for sewerage. -6/29/17

It's a good point to made, and I agree with it. Even if it's not much, early world there is little to heal with except ancient roots. Snake bites and some of the others can get pretty nasty.

Dude, you can't sleep in the lean-to, only store items in it.

+1 would love earlygame primitive bed. maybe have it count for half the "resting bonus" per point of quality compared to real bed.

For healing and realism.

You're new, so this faux pas will be forgiven. It's a legacy thing, and one that should have been brought back when beds were reintroduced not too long ago. You could make a bed of spruce boughs, place it in the lean-to, and it counted as a bed.

right, I knew that. but the fact that you could doesnt mean you can now, therefore either that or some replacement should be introduced. imo
