Perhaps I am against. Current beds are pushing to create a settlement. Bad beds can provoke alts-pest away from home and/or the immense rookeries around the world’s resources. I'm wrong?

Beds are used to reduce weariness from charter travel (not applicable to alts, as they have no cha), or to progress wounds faster (which also isn’t important to alts, as they are either one-time-use in attacks, or don’t take damage at all when camping nodes). Not seeing your point.

A bad bed for newbs is actually pretty important early world, considering how many aggressive animals and random wounds had been added (even nettles can kill you now…)

Amendment: for homeless novices. And thanks for the clarification, but I know what the bed in the game is for.

Sorry for slight off-topic, but I just realized I am not 100% sure how current bed works. I know how to use it and what it's for. What I want to clarify is - while character is sleeping it's visible there in the bed even when offline. Is it possible to attack such character? What happens if you destroy the bed? I just think that if bed makes you even "semi-online" it might be not as good as it sounds for a newb...

It's not possible to attack a sleeping character.

I think newbie age of a character is the time when the bed is needed most. So yes, I'm for it too.
And here I should apologize for my spelling... But I won't! Deal with it :P

What'd you need more than one bed for? Sleeping around?
