Oh, right, I had actually totally forgotten that potter's clay is made on a potter's wheel. Will consider a change.

Will potter's wheel met some nerf or rest of clay get a buff or something? Since I saw metal / hunting thread, I wanted to ask it in this way.

Is there really any need for a change to Potter's Clay? It only reached such high qualities because it inherited a greater fraction of the quality of Iron. With metal spiraling toned down, Potters Clay will be something easier to produce, but lower quality than Bone Clay.

I agree, it's a symptom, not a reason.
And here I should apologize for my spelling... But I won't! Deal with it :P

Yes it is, since we don't know if or how much the metal spiraling will be affected.

Potters clay was actually not better than bone clay when it first came out, it was only after a few months that the quality of the anvils affected the quality of the potters wheels enough for the potters clay to surpass bone clay.

I think that bone clay should always be better than potters clay, because it takes around 30x as much effort to make it. Bone clay will be better than potters clay for a long time during the new world, but the problem is that it does not scale up to end game because the qualities of bones, pit clay, and feldspar does not change from day 1 to day 1000: Feldspar and pit clay are constants, and bone qualities from breeding animals do not rise anywhere near fast enough to keep up with anvil qualities.

To balance it out, the relationship between anvil qualities and bone clay has to be stronger, or the relationship between potters clay and anvils have to be weaker.

i like the idea that pink clay is the mass producible clay for big projects like ovens and smelters and steel crucibles, but to be honest i think bone clay needs to be made on a potters wheel to make bone clay king again and cave and pit clay to be valuable.
