Drinking from wells without a container should be a thing.

How will you reach to bottom of well without container to attach to ropes?

Why again requires a well a bucket to be build?

Wait, Jorb said he doesn't mind plumbing. Perhaps drinking from a sink will be a bit more convenient. :D
And here I should apologize for my spelling... But I won't! Deal with it :P

OP may think any real life well has a built-in bucket at the end of it's chain and not some hook for people to be able to use their own recipients. Which is true.

But in H&H, with its player base 90% scavengers, it's a miracle nobody steals the rope and the thatching too. In H&H wells are bucketless and if you don't bring your own and tie it to the rope, you can lick that rope. And if you leave a bucket at the well, the moment you walk away someone stole it.

As a rule of thumb, everything that makes life easyer and less boring/grinding for players is a great idea. Everything that makes the game harder is crap coming from sadistic tendencies of Jorbtar helped by the few players with the same kind of disorders.

I consider this to be part of an larger issue of limited ability to manipulate stuff which includes such problems as not being able to wring neck of a small animal that you're holding, it needs to be placed on inventory to do so. Until Neural Interface is invented or perhaps VR perfected, there won't be solution to this. You can't drink from river or lake either.

Which also are completely pointless limitations, but these I can understand as on there is no item/object to interact with so pressing these into the interaction framework would be more difficult. But a well is an object that can be right-clicked, wouldn't be a problem to attach a drinking action to that.
