wounds giving stat buffs

i really like this idea. instead of every wound always giving negative debuffs and everyone hating their guts, give some positive buffs so we can play around with the wounds. itll be a less hated mechanic this way.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

There are already some examples of that.

Coaler's Cough gives bonus to masonry.

Nettle Burn gives bonus to survival (used to debuff it when first implemented.)
Haven and Hearth Wiki (Maintained by volunteers - test/verify when practical. Forum thread

Basic Claim Safety (And what you’re doing wrong
TL:;DR: Build a Palisade with only Visitor gates.)

Combat Guide (Overview, PVE, PVP) (Includes how to escape/minimize risk of getting killed.)

obviously not all wounds would give bonuses but I also like the idea. It would also open up the possibility of having many new varieties of small wounds that you could either choose to treat or keep around, and having that choice is an interesting game play decision. Splinters for carpentry and burns for cooking or smithing, etc. Constitution would be a stat that would improve your capacity for wounds, not just from combat.

You should get a wound that gives a buff depending on exactly how injured you got during a fight. If you sustained bad injuries like deep cuts or wretched gore you should get a scaling additional debuff called Grizzled that dramatically lowers charisma but makes increased strength and enemies of new fights start off with mild openings.

It's like if you just watched some dude get his torso ripped open by a bear, then eventually kill the bear, and immediately come stomping toward you for a fight i think you would be way more scared then if some totally unmaimed person came after you.

I think I would be not very scared of someone who was just mortally wounded by an animal.

I think callouses would fit this niche perfectly as the positive version of nerve damage/toad butter, ie a somewhat permanent wound that gives a dexterity, masonry or whatever bonus.
I’d also like to bring up the fact that, whether or not it’s a good thing to you, bittersweet or positive wounds would obviously add a negative to ancient roots, which heal all wounds indiscriminately

There’s an old saying: “Beware an old man in a profession where men die young.” Perhaps a nasty scar should have a combat/intimidation technique, although imo intimidation/fear should be a thing in some capacity in combat in general, not that balancing it in pvp would be anywhere near easy
