New equipment slots

Split "Main accessory" into necklace, eyes and mouth slots.

Necklace: Bear Talisman, Pearl Necklace (various other necklaces could be implemented as they wouldn't compete with Eyes and mouth pieces)

Eyes: Spectacles, Monocle (maybe add https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_goggles)

Mouth: Cigar, Different kind of pipes, Bandit's Mask, Boreworm Mask
Haven and Hearth Wiki (Maintained by volunteers - test/verify when practical. Forum thread

Basic Claim Safety (And what you’re doing wrong
TL:;DR: Build a Palisade with only Visitor gates.)

Combat Guide (Overview, PVE, PVP) (Includes how to escape/minimize risk of getting killed.)

I would like this, but make it so that some accessories take up several slots. Like the bandits mask taking up the mouth and necklace and the boreworm mask taking up the eye and mouth.

But the equipment panel is already filled.
Maybe they could add these slots in same manner as cosmetic hats were added.

2 slots would be added, so they equipment panel could be simply made one slot taller.

It hase been a while since the last post but would like to either revive the discussion or rather bring it to the intention of the devs.

A little example: Wouldn't it be logical that someone dealing with quicksilver/mercury wears a bandit's mask AND Spectacles to protect his face from exposure to this harmful substance and thus reducing the chance of quecksilver poisoning?

I wish that's all the more I had to wear the few times in my life I've worked with mercury. It absorbs through the skin as readily, with that being a more likely a source of poisoning than breathing or it being absorbed through the conjunctiva. Also, that isn't even a form of protection from vaporous substances.

(edit: back to the original post, yes, we could do with a couple more basic equipment slots so we aren't stuck with one "neck or above jewelry" item.)

I think this should be done. people always had the ability to wear a necklace while smoking a cigar. it should be this way

Trying to get more active in the forums, as I've just been lurking for years. I believe that this addition would add more variety to outfits, however there might be balancing issues that I haven't investigated or thought about. I feel late game it doesn't make that much of a difference but I'm not sure. Just food for thought, balancing should always be acknowledged. :D Great suggestion! Would love the ability to wear more than just a bear tooth talisman and not have my ugly expressionless face visible, gazing into the endless abyss with those cold dead eyes.
