Credo feedback

1) would be cool if you made another tutorial quest which ends with the player pursuing their first credo. Not sure brand new or otherwise unaware players will immediately find it.

2) would be cooler if there was some visual feedback that a credo costs 10000LP. Could have a devastating outcome of a new player assumes pursuing a credo has no costs and accidentally blows their LP wad they were saving for a claim.

3) would be great if a player's first credo costs 5000LP (1000 LP even?). It's laughably cheap I know, but as a (experienced) casual sprucecap I can float maybe 1500LP/hr** in my mentory at any given time, which equates to ~7 hours of studying curios for either a down payment on a credo or for attributes necessary for a brand new character. Idea here is that a new character has some immediate goals they can work towards that aren't one off quests or pclaims.

**edit: that was a gross miscalculation. I was erroneously looking at the total LP in my mentory; my actual LP/hr is around 750, which means it would take ~14 hours of studying before i can get a credo

Unless you're part of a group and are specializing, I don't think dropping 10k as soon as you can is worth it. I'd wait until your stats are up a bit more, like where you're spending 7 hours to improve your exploration or survival by that 10 points. Then it's worth investing in the LP and time of credos.

I completely agree here, but I also feel that being able to initiate your first credo is important. 80% of the early game is foraging, hunting, and fishing, and you should have the opportunity to complete some of these credo quests during your routine foraging, hunting, and fishing. I've already slayed a forest's worth of rabbits, picked a field's worth of berries and i've caught enough fish to rival the cod fisherman of the north atlantic, but none of this has contributed to a credo quest because it's more important to focus on exploration, survival, etc.

When you put it like that, I can't do anything but agree with you.

I can't even win an argument today. I think I'm just going to go sulk in my corner now.

Tbh the first credo should be free to pursue
