Bounding boxes of houses

hello fellow hearthlings,

I think this is the very first critique I ever posted:
Take the timber house ... it needs an area of 7x7 to be built but only because the bounding box-corners sit in the center of the tile .. with ":placegrid 2" I should be able to build it and have it perfectly alined with the terrain grid thus making it it's true 6x6 area and it seems to work, until you try to dig up a earthern hitt directly around it ... "there is not enough clearance to dig here" on 2 sides and it is fine on the other 2 ...

Then I reminded myself of the W11 changelog: "Bounding boxes are now generally symmetrical. Strange offsets and artifacts removed."
So did you miss this or is it intentional? If the latter, why?

I suspect it's more about how the clearance mechanic works than how the bounding boxes look. Might have a look at it.
