Hat Idea : Midge Net Hat

Quite simply a hat they keeps the midges out of your face. Maybe reduces midge agro to your character or reduced their annoyance.

More hats is always a good idea

Yes this. Except that the mesh is probably quite tricksy to make, especially for the low level characters who are at most risk of being eaten alive by the damn things, so maybe we should use something available in the Hearthlands?

ETA: An actual real veil of some sort might also provide protection against the Bees of Doom, should anyone be so foolish as to poke them. But probably it would be more reasonable for that to be made partly of silk, and possibly include some sort of wire to keep the rim in shape.

I would prefer a hat with a very large net over it to catch midges.

I second the swagman's cork hat. They could reuse the model for the freebooter's slouch and give it corks on strings to look extra lame and only practical.
