Animals

Curent spawn of animals are to frequent . I suggest reducing them by 30-50%. Realizm would go up a bit.

Another thing, give animals in combat ability to chop trees/bushes and chip stone (way quicker than players). Cheesing of bigger pray would be less easy.

i had no idea people were planting trees around the animals they were cheesing

-1 to both ideas here for sure because realism can go straight out the window when im just trying to slaughter animals to progress my character and i dont give a shit if its giving me an accurate depiction of a slavic/germanic forested region

Realism isn't an excuse to make the game worse with regards to your first suggestion. Second suggestion has been tried, it had problems (bear bowling for those who remember).

I do believe they are not planting them but rather using existing trees as components in their diabolical schemes.
