Some continents have only 1 place where a certain biome occurs.
One may get a quest where he needs to pick some specific herb.
This basically forces people to either A. explore the WHOLE continents or B. use world map like odditown
As a note for the next world: having biomes that you must travel 2 hours to is not very nice, especially if you dont know at all where these biomes may be.

I agree, Loftar should figure out a way to disable third party mapping. It's not fair that people don't have to explore to find resources like god intended.

I don't think that is an easy task.

They should just further develop the current in-game mapping system, maybe so people could share maps and markers in-game (potentially sell them to each other). So 3rd party mapping sites would be largely obsolete.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this mechanic, as it encourages world exploration. If you really don't like it, abandon the quest and try again.

Continents meant to be unique. I'm also a bit frustrated I never found chives and parasol mushrooms for which I have a quest for forever, but that makes me explore further and further every time I go foraging.

Is it me, or you're posting 2-3 threads whining about every single thing? ..
If you need something for quest, go find it. You're by no means FORCED to use 3rd party maps, nor you're FORCED to complete those quests. It's your choice, why whine about it here? . .
I remember searching 5h for cinnabar for quarryman guest, and yet i don't remember posting "cinnabar op" threads, it's part of the game. If it's too hard, do something easier. You're never FORCED to use outside help.

Best option would be to have in-game map so you don't have to alt tab constantly.
If people are going to share their maps anyway, why not give them a proper way to do it in-game?
