Canals, terraforming water

Perhaps it was already suggested, but why not remind again?))
The game has the ability to search for water and build a well. It would not be bad to realize the creation of a lake or canal (on which you can walk, according to the type of shallow water).
In W10, I saw only a cosmetic component in this, but in W11 Claim Shield was turned off, which suggests that the defensive ditch around the settlement would be a small obstacle for the besiegers. (he would have to bury him in order to drive a ram). In my opinion, disabling Claim Shield made life more difficult for loners and small peaceful groups of farmers and hunters, because they have no special opportunities to defend themselves from insane barbarians than large settlements and kingdoms with a huge amount of resources. Yes, there is a problem that players will dig out huge spaces for water around the settlement. But you can realize this as a building that could just be broken. In general, I just suggested an idea, I would like a lake in my area))
From this, the idea of a suspension bridge across the moat appears. again more like a decoration))

Yes, and this has already been said, but since W11 are islands and continents, then maybe this is the time when Potatoes, tomatoes and corn will appear?) at least one Leifur Eiriksson floated and brought us this food of the gods)

Re: Maybe?

So you want canals, but you title the thread "Maybe?"...? Why not "Canals"?

Water terraforming would be nice, but it's a bit of a tall order. May happen at some point.
