Client rewrite : please support 4K resolution

Postby dullah » Tue Feb 12, 2019 2:29 pm

Greets,

High resolution gaming is a real thing.

Please support the higher resolutions with UI scaling and resizeable windows.
All windows should be resizeable.
I really don't want to downsize my screen resolution just to play Haven, and the Windows dpi scaling thing is not an appropriate answer.

Here it what it looks a 4K:

Thanks

Is it? I've not seen loftar say anything about what is or isn't getting added to the client.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

It is not. Unrelated, but I guess we'll have to fix it sooner or later. Neither of us muster much enthusiasm when confroted with UI-work.

We should buy 4k monitor for loftar. Until that, there will not be any ui scaling fixes.

When you hate to do it yourself: outsource it to a custom client developer by offering them some $$$?

+1 PLEASE!

When your UI is so small that you have to get a mounted magnifying glass to see number and letters... and subsequently have to downgrade to your old monitor you left in the garage to play comfortably.
