Jorb this is the biggest fire by far besides the actual bonfire. Why can't I cook off of it?
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.

Should be able to put fleshy bodies in it to have them decay into skeletons and or bone ash.

A true Viking funeral pyre to send off our fallen mates!

[pretentiousness warning] I saw people burning their canoes all the time (ngalawa/mtumbwi) and that animation looks completely unlike that, it looks like you just set the whole thing on fire like a viking burial. the fire should be underneath the cannoe, mostly smoky/embers not big ass flames. jorb shuda used the existing ember fireplace stuff

What even is that? A dugout with some kindling in it? I didn't know this was a thing.

Seems to be taking inspiration from this technique: https://youtu.be/-I4zkHgdw2w?t=479

The fire is used to help make hollowing out the log easier from the looks of it.

after shaping a dugout the interior is really rough. burning it allows it to be scraped to a smoother finish so you don't get splinters in your balls.

our forefathers were really smart folks that's for sure.
