Okay, so I have been thinking abou the food system lately, since it keeps being tweaked, and something came to me.
We cannot drink with a full stamina bar.
We cannot heal with full health.
why are we allowed to eat when we have a full energy bar?
The system should run a check to see if the percent energy eaten would fill beyond the max energy and then prevent that action.(possibly displaying a message to the user "you do not require that much energy")
This is important for two reasons.
Firstly, it would reduce the amount of mass produces characters.
Secondly it would require botters to produce more complex scripts in order to eat spam and re-log with satiation gone to repeat. Which may cause some of them to stop botting or just make it harder to get into in the first place.
Requiring use of the energy before being able to consume again ensures the player is participating in the game in some way in order to gain the advantage of the boost in stats. This could lead to random deep holes dug all over the map, or deforestation, or possibly people trying to light fires over and over again in order bring down their stamina far enough to drink, which will allow them to bring down their energy.
Either way I feel like it would be a significant deterrent and much needed game mechanic.
