I have shot arrow from 1 tile away, 4 tiles away, 8 tiles away, still have not compelted the quest?

There should be text that tells you how far you have to be from the archery target to complete the quest....

Archery is quite useless for hunting anyway.

I'm having the same issue, not getting the quest completed. Isn't the bull's eye when you get the "+50" text on it? The arrow is at the center, I get the +50 from different distances, but still nothing...

You have to shoot it like 15 tiles away from the target.

The distance must be at least 5 tiles. Sprayed archery target with 150 arrows from 1-2 tiles and didn't work. (it was fixed I guess)

Finally made it, you need to be at least 8 tiles away, meaning having 8 full tiles between you and the target. At 7 tiles didn't count.

No there isn't. What is enough? 2 tiles? 4 tiles? 5 tiles? They seem to be quite long distances already.
