1% from bonfire?

1% from bonfire?

We tried feasting with bonfire.
7 characters, 30-50 charisma on each
Got 1% (86% -> 85%), the others with less total fep - got 3% for this bonfire.
Okay, i understand it was too OP, but were there any sense to make bonfire useless?


Inb4 'noobs, raise 1000 charisme first' - let's say we are real people with real attributes, who trying to use ingame mechanics

My guess (or let's better say, hope) is that the devs took the time to come up with a reasonable target level they want to see for characters and tuned the numbers so that the mechanic will allow new (or reincarnated) characters in an older world to get a reasonable bonus while being behind.

Currently the effects seem to be capped by the symbel item qualities but these will go up with time, we're only a few weeks into the world... Might fail for newly formed groups (as their qualities would be lower), but at least it's a start.

Theoretically it just might be a gap between lowq symbel and high enough charisma so the cumulative effect is next to none. Maybe (just a wild speculation on my part here) with higher CHR it will start look less useless and as stats progress just take over the symbel completely.

Otherwise it looks just a decoration really...

IIRC, the FEP bonus value never gets super insane. Maybe give a trade off of not capping FEP by stat but leaving the hunger effect as being nerfed into the ground?

This would give players pushing the bleeding edge a reason to use symble, but keep the desperately needed catchup mechanic.
