So the idea of dewy time and fireflies and animals being more available during certain times of day makes the game feel a lot more immersive and sort of makes you have to plan your foraging trips around the actual time of day, which is cool. The new wolves at full moon mechanic is really fucking awesome too. I feel like more time-related events could only stand to make the game feel even more immersive. Bonus points if they add more sounds to the game too.
Crickets at dusk? Maybe they can be loud chirping insects that are very similar to grasshoppers.
Cicadas in the afternoon? Obnoxiously loud large flies that buzz and hum in the tops of trees and spawn like mistletoes.
Owls at night? Passive animals that sit in trees like bats but attack rats and rabbits.
Loons at night? Been suggested before many times but I mean come on. 2ez
Treefrogs at dusk and dawn? Chirping little beaded toe frogs slinging to trees and rocks and shit. Don't act like this is not amazing.
Worms in the morning or at night? Worms popping up and squiggling around and leaving behind tiny little dirt mounds.
Probably tons more I can think of but point is we need more noise-making, time-sensitive flora and fauna.
