knarr docks on ocean

I don't know if it's been changed so forgive me if I'm outdated, but you are able to hand bash knarr docks, I assume this is to prevent misuse for blocking rivers, but I think this restriction should not apply to knarr docks on the ocean, it would be nice if knarr docks placed entirely on ocean tiles soaked up to the point where you need a siege engine to destroy them, with oceans having made knarrs more important than ever, I think it is fair that the docks should be made less vulnerable.

I agree, Docks placed in saltwater should have soak.

docks placed in fresh water should not.

People keep saying this and yet I never saw a single dock in world 10 that was built with the intentions of blocking a river. An arbitrary limit of docks per village claim could also resolve this and make it more unlikely that someone "wastes" their village dock blocking a river.

the resource cost for them is pretty large just for anybody to come and smash it up

Post a single example, I don't think anybody has ever done that and it would be stupid just to throw in a bunch of resources just to block off a small bit of river.

ive done it before last world. the river was small and i parked the knarr alongside the dock. came back the next day and it was smashed never parked aesthetically again.

i think the biggest reason that its not done currently is because of the fact anyone can bash them and they are resource heavy. if you make them un-bashable using them exploitatively becomes an option.

Lots of other things are being blocked off and used exploitavely in game, why can't a knarr dock be too? If someone doesn't like it bring out the siege weaponry just as you would with a wall.

You can already do this with knarrs and half-built knarr signposts if you really wanted too lol
