Critique: Fuel bug fix

The current way you fixed the fuel bug resets the progress to 0, but this is kind of really frustrating for things like Garden Pots for example if you forget to refill with enough sticks or whatever as it takes awhile, was this done as a technical limitation? Is there no way to store the fuel QL used in a variable or something and if I put in say 11 coal and then it ran out, put in the 12th it would remember the first 11 + the most recent I put in? Or was it done for more realism?

Most likely it was done this way because of laziness.
Its probably not impossible to make it somehow store the average quality of fuel used while burning the item in the item itself.

It was indeed, the real bug is a bit tricky to fix, and I don't have a complete solution yet. We felt that this fix was better than nothing in the meantime.
