Different cart types

Postby LagannPM » Mon Feb 25, 2019 12:20 am

Implement new cart types or a way to modify cart :
Cistern cart, works as large portable barrel.
Stockpile cart, can be created by using loaded wheelbarrow on an empty cart. Holds x6 of stockpile amount.
Transport cart or carriage holds up to 4 people in it. Plays skyrim music in background...

No to the skyrim music. This is a Zelda inspired game.

Honestly a carriage that can hold 2 people and 4 liftables would be pretty nice... I'd like to give people a ride.

I would settle with enabling one character to sit on the back a cart (simply RMB it to mount while someone pulls it, like wagon), blocking the two backmost slots.

In case of that:
- Sitting character needs to be left behind when teleporting, else two characters could endlessly teleport 4 slots between their hearth fires without cost
- Stuff like visitor would need to be applied to the sitting character, logging out needs to detach from the cart, (whatever exploit else comes to mind)

Oh, yeah that actually sounds pretty reasonable. I would 1000% trade away 2 liftables for an option to pull my buddy along

I would like a sack barrow - same idea as a wheelbarrow, but can pick up one liftable thing (barrel, cauldron, dream catcher, etc) to move it around. Not sure about letting it pick up a wheelbarrow.

A cart is significantly cheaper than a wheelbarrow. Plus, it can move six objects at a time. Why bother with this?

Movement speed while lifting stuff?

Bring a cart with you, naturally.

I'll agree it's not as easy to maneuver, so there is that.
