Cheeserack

Postby Redkat » Sun Mar 03, 2019 6:17 pm

I'm a bit late on this but I read about the cheeserack softcapping today and i'll just point out this to the developers.

It will make it a less colourful world out there cause everybody will be using the same tree that is chosen for high q materials. :(

Cheese trays - sure - that makes sense but not the racks. They just hold the stuff. Please lets keep a little of the colourful stuff in the world.

I used to enjoy making different types of colourful racks, but I know that won't happen from now on.

I somewhat agree that its stupid to have racks softcap ql.
Cannot have fancy racks if you want hq cheese.

Yes please, if game balance requires quality cap - remove colors for it.

If you really want different colours that bad, just raise more than one tree in quality. You're going for aesthetics, so its on you to plant less efficient trees to have the colours and quality at the same time.

I'm more upset about the amount of stamina it takes to build racks (or anything) and destroy the old ones, other than having less colourful basements...

"Just raise more than one tree" dies with the idea of tree nodes.

+1 to the concept because my wife likes me to colour code her different racks for each cheese type. It drives me insane making them but it does look nice.

I think a display sign would be just as effective?

My issue with this is that it just feels like a way to nerf the FEPs on cheese. Better to just lower the base by a small amount, I'd think. Otherwise, what's next in this attempt to slow progression? (I have thoughts, but I don't want to give anyone any ideas.)

And yet in itself it is strange that the shelf / cabinet, as it affects the quality of the product, which is in a separate container, in our case in the pallet - is very strange, very VERY strange things, guys

I'll have to agree. The cheese trays should softcap, and the racks ql should only factor in durability when not in a claimed area.
