for some strange reason, black eyes are a wound that never goes away on its own. a black eye is a simple bruise, which effects nothing in a persons performance or ability to see, which heals quickly in as little as a few days. but in game it gives you -5 to perception and can only be healed with either rare mats (for how common and basic a wound it is), or a healing item that gives a permanent wart and the stat deficit that goes with it.
i purpose that black eyed be changed to something actually relative to what the "wound" actually is: -5 charisma instead of the ridiculous -5 perception, and have it fade over the course of 3-7 in game days. as it stands its a crippling wound at low percetionXexp levels, and an ever growing wound that never goes away due to its shit excuse for healing mechanics. nearly everything can give you a black eye easily, and theres no reason a bruise should be a life long crippling illness.
