Animal strength scaling

So we are progressing, and fighting animals starts to be trivial
if first 2 weeks of new world we could fight one only using brain and cheese tactics, now most ppl can just go head 2 head with animal and kill them with 1 button.

The idea is to scale animal strength with it's quality

so q90 bear will habe x3 hp and ua stats as q10 bear for example

But then we need another options - how to know how strong is animal before you attack him ? as attacking q300 bear will be fail

anwser is - we need to examine animals from far away, like anatomy skill in d&d - you try to check animal quality before attacking it

I've always wondered why quality and strength of an animal aren't correlated. Not entirely sure how the impacts on the gameplay would be though.

bigger / smaller for eye or slightly different colors as well as ability to chop logs, bushes, swipe away boats and bears on top of that swimming as well as lesser animals being able to jump on boat or if quality is greater much, then running away from players if theres a cliff between

also make a stamina for running, so its possible to catch up without lp lost and possible discovery of combat move due to it bleeding out

At the world start people need to use game breaking mechanics to hunt animals: hunt from water, cheeseing, reagro, etc
Why should they still be forced to use it, when they receive enough stats, weapon and armor to hunt fair? Pointless

Ok so to tell animal q the animals should just get buff so like the q is related to the thickness of the animals so 60 q is skinny bear and looks like wire frame and 400q looks like a buff nigga

Just nerf theese mechanics from game, ie. allow every animal to swim but very slow. And implement better aggroing mechanic(maybe remove ability to deaggro when animal flees). If we had better early game(so we could get some game without cheese) then we could just go progress into better quality animals with normal fighting.

I've always thought animals that can't swim should just insta run if you enter a boat.

The ability to examine animal q before killing it was removed early w10. There must have been reasons for it.
