Uprootable tree saplings

Postby ErdTod » Fri Mar 08, 2019 1:57 am

This was most likely already suggested, but first 5 pages of search didn't give me any similar threads, so here's what I really need in my HnH: ability to uproot and replant with own position and rotation saplings of trees (i.e. when they are <10% grown or whatever) - just like bushes. I would like to decorate my home with those sweet-looking trees, but it's very hard to plant them precisely from pots :(

Would like to have that too. <10% grown seems like a reasonable limit to being able to lift them.

On further thinking: as jorb seems to be completely disinterested in suggestions to turn stunting into a hefty (but not absolute) growth speed reduction... I would like to be able to lift stunted trees (any size) to replant them, so they could at least have a use in a bonsai garden.

Would also help when you accidentally drop the treeplanter's pot in a newly planted tree's hitbox.

Wish they would add this indeed, sometimes the trees go just a little bit over one tile and you can't plant another tree next to it then..

Best way to plant so far is press ctrl + x so you have tile centering on and then position yourself right in the middle of the next tile you want to plant the tree on and plant it. Works 70% of the time and tree is right in the middle of the tile

I'll shamelessly bump my own idea so it has one more chance to get noticed by devs :)

I'm fine with this idea, but also want to note: Ambers ctrl+x "all right click centered on tile" helps make planting these in a nice fashion easier.

While it centers on tile it dosn't allow to control rotation.
Being able to lift (and replant) a sapling would allow that.

What if I lift a tree sapling and hold it up for weeks?
