For what, I dunno.
Perhaps you could sent a message to anyone, wether log or not.
Receiver log on, see a pigeon that pose a message at his foot.

I would be fine with just pigeon animation around the stone tower if it was a posibility lol + the pure joy of throwing shit q seeds at them while afking.

I love it so much!! Hella larpy and also it can have a function. I mean we already have mailboxes, but a friend may be across the ocean and who is gonna take out their knarr everytime they want to physically leave stuff in their mailbox?

Maybe there should be a distance-unlocking system in place where you "train" the pigeons to eventually go further in distance so they can reach your kin that live the furthest from you. The logical thing would be that these pigeons can only travel to kinned hearthlings with stone towers built, but technically those pigeons can wait for them by their hearthfires if they don't have any pigeons of their own. In fact maybe that should be the default mechanic for all receivers, idk.

I feel this would really be great for those people (and yeah there's a good amount of them, I'm sure you all know) who don't use discord or other non-hafen means of communication for various reasons. It adds a good, sure way of them getting messages even when offline. Esp since lots of shit may go down while they're offline and you'd need to warn/inform them
(Sorry for the three different posts, my phone isn't letting me type one big message and then submit it, the submit button and the save, preview buttons just disappear with the message that big, gotem)

The idea was you could also speak to an unknown person you saw but didnt kin (cause you would'nt him to know when you are online, or any reason), you can just send him a "hellow, do you live near here? I live just south of the river" and you dont know when he logs to read the message.
