Picking up knocked out horse

Postby Nexit » Sun Mar 10, 2019 3:41 pm

It just seems annoying to have to babysit the knocked out horse in the wilderness when it's knocked out for 12 hours or so, and it's probably going to get stolen already if you can't attend to the horse immediately when it wakes up. I don't understand why we can't pick the horse up and bring it back to our base. Hearthling can already lift large beasts, why not hearthling's best friend?

Deserved punishment for taking so bad care of him he gets ko'd in your supervision. Should stay same.

Takes the same time, dumb idea.

I'm not sure if the idea itself should be implemented 1:1, but something to do about knocked out horses is definitly needed.

Having to wait for the 12 hour time period and forcing you to log on at a time you may not be on is definitely not deserved

Don't make silk or steel.

Silk is certainly incomparable to this, and steel is something you can at least plan to do or bot. This is just another unnecessary inconvenience to players.

It feels really dumb and frustrating to not be able to do anything to a knocked out but alive horse when we could haul a dead horse willy nilly as we please.

Why not let us craft some kind of "wake up" food for the horse? Honeyed clover maybe? I seem to think not being able to pick up living characters is an engine thing, would be a workaround.
