Sausages, Dried, Boiled, or Grilled

Postby spavaloo » Thu Mar 14, 2019 12:42 am

Currently, sausages go directly from a meat grinder to a hearthling's gullet. This is uncivilized.

One should first be required to either
1)Boil, yielding a cooked sausage,
2)Grill on a gridiron, yielding a sizzling sausage, which reverts to a cooked sausage after the sizzling buff expires, or
3)Cure by hanging on a drying frame, with a similar timetable and FEP buff to drying fish fillets.

We have been eating raw sausage all these years and I find it unseemly.

Great stuff, I think. Relatively simple way to add some more diversity to food.

That would be a good thing to buff sausages, +1

You missed #4: Add in a smoker to cure sausages and meats.

Could be done in the kiln. Sure, wrong temperature... but who cares as long as it's tasty.

It's a matter of direct and indirect heat. A kiln can burn at whatever temp you want by controlling airflow and fuel. If you had good insulation, you could use a home charcoal grill as a kiln.

Would be good if such sausages would have less satiate chance and satiate values. Like dried fish, which takes a lot of time, but pretty neat when ready.

inb4 dried fish nerfed as fuck
