Dugout critique

At the beginning, problem with dugouts was that people were using them as throwaway vessels and throwaway bridges for hearthlings. Seems that dugouts aren't affected by quality of log as well. Main problem is 20 minutes waiting period for those to be usable.

Since I don't wanna waste dev team time on taking a step back in this matter, here's a simple solution everyone should like and make dugouts better than they are now and is a somekind step further.

Unburned dugout: can be used as it was used before, but animals break them two times faster than burned ones. Heavy. Slower. Decays a lot faster. Maybe visibly faster.

Burnt out dugout: A bit lighter, so hearthling moves faster, is a tiny bit faster than unburned dugout and decays a bit slower.

TL;DR: bring back insta dugouts, but burnt dugouts are superior to them.

Or better is leave them as they're now but let us lift it and run at the same time.

Still, 20 minutes of waiting just to swim a little, where You can almost immediatly build a rowboat and tar it up...

Dugouts have potential of being made from stunted trees or as quick way to travel a small water body. Real impact is there only very early in the world and later, usage of those will be very marginal...

the only use for this trash was exactly because it was everywhere and easy to use... of course early world there would be a lot of them, but as the world gets older they'd be less present, maybe they could decay faster

but this cancer C&I forum had to go and complain about it like it was a terrible thing... this is why you can't have nice things in this game... the more popular it gets the more things must be harder and not fun

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think dugouts are 'heavier' than empty rowboats. Kind of strange. When I carry dugouts with my miner I move at walkspeed rather than the runspeed I get with a rowboat. Not a big issue, but it is an inconsistency of dugouts and relevant to critiquing them.
