without an option to upgrade the lower tier of walls, yes.

Disagree with that, fam. You can build a new wall around your base.

It does not (necessarily) imply pali-bashing; it just means that you don't have to wait for 24 hours for your siege machines to become usable.

Kinda dumb you guys are doing this right now, and potentially screwing over a lot of village designs that have been built. Should at least give us a way to upgrade our palisades into brickwalls to deal with the renovations people will likely need to do.

Changes seem like an improvement over last world at least. Hard to say really without testing.
