Couldn't you catapult someone's claim basically making their wall useless unless their base is big enough then?

if you are in fire range of claim i think you are inside walls already

Ahh they already have a short dry time too so this system change wouldn't really effect their interactions with claims anyways. Its been a while since I used a catapult and forgot how exactly they worked

http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Catapult talks about 1h.

Regarding damage to claim poles (and I guess also village idols) not triggering the siege claim 'reverse shield' mechanic:
Nice, makes it easy to catapult away small claims (resource claims and especially noobs that don't claim beyond render range).
Or at least it could, would there still be unwalled geysers nearby to get the needed brimstone.

Bottom line is: This mechanic will be exploited in similar ways as the old (creatively placing a mix of personal and village claims) by the usual suspects so they can get busy stomping joe average while being perfectly safe themselves.

If you can catapult claim over wall this do not sound right to me. Now that you can move claim pole, there have been cases where I have move claim pole to corner of claim so it is out of my way.

At least you can move it back.

Will nab player know this though? Or will he wake up in morning and some man has destroyed his claim pole over wall and then destroy this now unclaimed wall, then wonder what has happened to him?

It do not seem right to me that object can be destroyed over wall in general. Are we sure this is how it will be working?

Hmm. True that. Will consider.

Considering more convolution as we speak.
