The problem with bloody trees and stones

If I understand correctly, you need bloody trees and stones on your continent to get all kingdom buffs. However, some islands don't have those. This will massively screw over island kingdoms and make them worthwhile only for hermits.

Please tell me I'm wrong about the way kingdom buffs work this world.

The idea of islands being worse off resource wise compared to someone on a continent makes sense to me imo.

"There are no swamps on my island, but I should be able to get candleberries." has the same kind of silly logic.

Why should you have all the same things in islands that you have in mainlands?
I think that living in a small island should also have some disadvantages.

It should have some advantages. Right now all it has is disadvantages it seems. Traveling to the market without charter stones will be painful enough...

  • larpy
  • cool
  • hard to siege
I think thats plenty of advantages.
Islands are not meant for big powergaming villages.
Instead, for hermits who want to live on islands!

What exactly do you mean with that?

You must click a button to get cool buffs
If you dont have some of those bloody stones and trees on your realm, you cannot click the button.
