Ability to opt out of sharing xp with realm

Postby LaserSaysPew » Wed Mar 20, 2019 7:28 pm

Just a buff that opts a character out of a covering realm for 24h. Realm won't get xp while it lasts. Each day it needs to be reenabled.

is it so that if you are in an "enemy" realm you arent giving them points for being there?

If a kingdom with no buffs reached its dirty tentacle over me i'd want to be able to deny them xp from me.

The entire point of "aiding the kingdom just by existing" is to give kingdoms an incentive not to murder everyone they don't know immediately.

Opt out negates that.

Only if you also get no benefit from being in the realm.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

this doesnt really make sense with the way kingdoms work, if you get claimed by a kingdom you dont have a say in the matter its not like a negotiation lol, you got claimed and thats the end of it and now u pay your taxes (not that it costs you anything)

Let them eat cake!

I could see someone putting up a dummy kingdom to deprive you of buffs being problematic.
