The original idea was to provide mechanics support for inns. In the world where travel weariness limits daily travel and using heartwood/pipestuff is not always an option it could make sense to do travels in several jumps, sleeping between jumps to reduce travel weariness. While it certainly can be done by having a few own pclaims on the way to the central market it would be nice and larpy to have a resting place for general use. To protect the place form griefers it obviously should be claimed, but the inn owner should also have some sound motivation to provide his services without nolifing in order to serve scarce visitors. Hence the idea of providing paid bed for hours.
Paid access can probably be handled by a bot but a nicer solution is to allow a variation of field cairn that grants access to the area after paying preset amount. The paying mechanics should be based on current barter stand implementation. Field cairn would define what actions are allowed within it's area. Most likely it will be trespassing and rummaging, maybe also theft in some cases. There should be also option to limit number of people accessing the area at the same time to prevent griefing. Such mechanics would also allow paid access to hq anvils, kilns, wells etc.
This could also allow automated selling of animals and possibly also wheelbarrows/carts with stuff (there might be an inspecting problem with stuff on wheelbarrows).
